Introduction to the Foundation

The Challenger Map Foundation is comprised of members of the Challenger family; Donald William (Bill) Challenger, Jean Ester Challenger and Joanne Christine Challenger. The foundation has legal ownership of the Challenger Map and will have the final decision for it's future.

An advisory group has been appointed to research the potential new location and operation of the map, develop a fund-raising system to cover the costs of restoration of the map and develop technological concepts, entertainment possibilities and educational support systems for the map when it is relocated.
